Buying online should feel easy. A handful of small habits make it safe as well. Use this checklist before you pay for anything, on any site.
1. Read the whole listing
Look at every photo, the description, the condition and the delivery details. If something is missing or vague, ask the seller before you buy.
2. Check the seller
Open the seller's store page. A seller with a clear profile, several products and genuine reviews is a better bet than a brand-new account with one listing and no history.
3. Be wary of prices that look too good
A big discount on a popular item is sometimes real, but a price far below everyone else's is a warning sign. Compare similar listings before you decide.
4. Pay inside the platform
Always pay through the checkout. Never agree to pay by bank transfer to a personal account or move the conversation to another app. Payments made at checkout are the ones that can be tracked and, if needed, reviewed.
5. Use a strong, unique password
Choose a password you do not use anywhere else, and sign out on shared computers. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, protect that account too.
6. Keep your delivery details current
Check your address and phone number in My account before ordering. Most delivery problems start with a wrong or incomplete address.
7. Keep your records
Your orders are saved in My orders. Keep the order number and any messages with the seller until the item has arrived and you are happy with it.
8. Inspect the parcel when it arrives
Check the package and the item soon after delivery. If anything is damaged or wrong, take clear photos and contact us straight away with your order number.
The short version: read carefully, check the seller, pay at checkout and keep your records. These four steps prevent most problems.
