A parcel that arrives intact and on time is the best advertisement a small business can have.
Match the box to the item
Choose a box with a little room for padding, not one that is far too large. Too much empty space lets items move and break, and it can raise delivery costs.
Protect fragile items
Wrap each item separately, fill gaps with paper or bubble wrap, and make sure nothing can rattle. For breakable goods, give them a firm layer of padding on every side.
Seal and label clearly
Use strong tape across every seam. Put the delivery address on the outside, and include the order number and a copy of the address inside the parcel.
Weigh and measure
Know the weight and size of your packed parcels. It helps you set accurate delivery fees and avoid surprises.
Keep proof of dispatch
Keep any tracking or receipt details until the buyer confirms delivery, and update your order status as soon as the parcel leaves.
